Astara will be performing at the largest Mind Body Spirit event in East Anglia! In aid of Helen Rollason Cancer Charity the MBS Festival is in its 20th year so to celebrate it is moving to a new venue: Chelmsford City Racecourse!

I have been helping organiser Chris Cozens this year to make the events much more child friendly. I have a huge passion in wellbeing and I want to assist practitioners and healers connect with more families. There will be demos and workshops, family fun activities, healthy living foods, live music, crystals and jewellery, spiritual gifts and arts, natural body products, treatments, readings and over 100 stands! It is going to be an incredible weekend and there will be something for everyone.

We can now confirm the dates and times of performances:

Previous Astara Shows

Here is a taster of our 2017 Summer Show "True Colours".  An adventure through the colours of life with singing hippies, ballet dancing unicorns, silver street dancers and green ninjas. Poppy learnt all about how to manage her emotions with the help of her enchanted Guardian Rainbow Fairy.

Since 2007 we have written, choreographed and produced numerous and unique Dance and Musical Theatre Shows, where we get to be really creative! Our previous shows include Wizard of Oz, Shrek's Surprise Birthday Bash, Splash!, Charlie's Chocolate Factory, A Star is Born and Shake it Off.

Astara's Charlie's Chocolate Factory 2013

Having just attended a show that Charlotte put together incorporating all of her different classes within Astara, I have to say I was hugely impressed. The show was absolutely fantastic, it was a unique take on "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and it had the lot. Dancing across many styles, acting, singing, comedy and it featured children from 4 to 15!! The way Charlotte integrated all this is testament to her hard work, organisation, imagination and skill and the fact she manages to get the best out of her students. I would have no hesitation in recommending Charlotte and her Astara classes. My daughter is already asking me when she can be in another show!    Mr Ritcher
